Guests will receive free Whiskey tastings, live music, and enjoy a variety of local food and beverages. All funds raised will support Local Veterans.

The Veterans Sportsmens Association has partnered up with Warriors and Whiskey to host social events at select distilleries, bars, and other venues around the Hudson Valley Region for our members and guests to unwind and forge new friendships while learning about carefully selected local whiskey.

The 2023 Whiskey, Bourbon, and BBQ event will feature Local New York and Veteran Owned Distilleries. All funds raised will support the local Hudson Valley Veterans.

Here at Warriors & Whiskey we believe everyone deserves a fun and engaging way to pursue their passion, and when that passion is whiskey, we couldn’t think of a better way than to distill the greatest whiskey enthusiasts in America into one spirited community.

The 2022 Whiskey, Bourbon and BBQ was GREAT!!!

Our VSA Whiskey, Bourbon and BBQ event this past year was a huge success. Significant time and effort was expended by our members to make it happen, and we want to identify and Thank everyone that was able to attend.
The VSA Board would like to start off by Thanking Bernie Herzfeld, the Commander of VFW Post 170, and my fellow VFW 170 members for allowing us to use our post as the venue for this event. Everything they did for us was greatly appreciated and made this event possible.
We want to Thank the distilleries that were able to attend and support us at this event, and we look forward to coming out to visit each one of your distilleries in the coming year. We also want to Thank Todd at Tavern 23, whose team was just amazing and made our guests the great BBQ. Finally, we want to Thank the Brokedown and Rebuilt Band for the excellent live music.
With every successful mission or event, you need three components. A good plan, a good execution of that plan, and a good team. The Board would like to thank the committee members who attended multiple planning meetings, designed, printed, and distributed posters, and spent hours coordinating the event plans. The 2022 Whiskey Event Committee did an excellent job!!!
