VETERANS SPORTSMENS ASSOCIATION
Veterans Serving Veterans
The Veterans Sportsmens Association (VSA) is composed of Veterans and Civilians alike who take pride in honoring All Veterans for their service and their sacrifices. We provide Veteran sponsored shooting events, firearms training, and other outdoor activities such as kayaking, canoeing, skiing, and snowboarding within the Hudson Valley Region of New York and Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA).
The Veterans Sportsmens Association (VSA) is a Federally recognized 501c3 Non-profit Organization, and we are located in Poughkeepsie, New York and also through our Newest Chapter in Pike County Pennsylvania.
VSA members are 100% nonpaid Volunteers. Absolutely all of the funds generated through fundraising and donations assist local Veterans, Guard, Reserve and Active duty military and their families. The Let Freedom Ring Event proceeds will be used to sponsor Veterans activities and events in the Hudson Valley area of New York and Northeast Pennsylvania. Additionally a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a family in PA whose Three Year Old Son is battling Leukemia. Thank you!

General Admission Tickets are ONLY $75 for all Firearms rentals at the 600 Meter range
Ticket holders Choose the firearm and caliber to shoot (YES you can shoot any of the different Machine Guns available)
*By comparison the Average machine gun rental is between $80 and $100 for just a single magazine of ammunition for each firearm
VIP Tickets are ONLY $150 for TWO days at the 600 Meter range, and 10 rounds of 50 BMG (which allows you to shoot the Ma Deuce M2 50 Cal Machine Gun or the Kahr 50 TAOS)
The Average rental fee for a 50 BMG is between $350 and $1300 and you can expect to pay a premium (well more than $1000) to rent a "Ma Deuce" (M2 .50 caliber machine gun). The M2 will be available to shoot Vehicle Mounted which isn't normally available at Machine Shoots. This is a rare and VERY powerful experience that is not allowed at most gun ranges.
VIP tickets are EXTREMELY limited.
General Admission Tickets include the rental firearms for the full day at the 600 Meter range - PARKING is FREE
THERE WILL BE A SMALL VENDOR AREA ON SITE INCLUDING FOOD AND BEVERAGES. BATHROOMS ARE IN THE TOMMY GUN WAREHOUSE STORE AND AT THE RANGE
Shooters MUST purchase or bring factory new ammunition for the firearm and caliber they want to shoot (YES ammunition will be available for purchase on site at the Tommy Gun Warehouse). Standard Ammunition you will need for these gun rentals include 9mm, 45 ACP, .556, .308 and 50 BMG.
We HIGHLY encourage shooters to pre-purchase ammunition in ADVANCE from the Tommy Gun Warehouse on site prior to this event.
*Old or reloaded Ammunition will not be allowed on the range
Shooters must arrive on the range prepared - which includes hearing protection, ballistic safety glasses and a baseball style hat (you will not be allowed on the range without safety gear). Knee and elbow pads are optional
ALCOHAL AND DRUGS ON SITE IS PROHIBITED!!! ANYONE UNDER THE INCLUENCE WILL BE PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THE RANGE AND WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT SITE
*ALL SHOOTERS will receive a RANGE safety brief and must sign the liability waiver prior to shooting. ANY SAFETY violation will result in removal from the range by the Range Safety Officer (RSO).
THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE SO DRESS APPROPRIATELY.
SHOOTERS MAY NOT BRING THEIR OWN FIREARMS OR MACHINE GUNS TO THIS EVENT UNLESS IT IS EXPRESSLY APPROVED IN ADVANCE. ALL CUSTOMERS WILL BE SCREENED AND BAGS CHECKED. IF YOU HAVE A CART TO TRANSPORT AMMO FROM YOUR CAR TO THE RANGE, IT IS A DECENT WALK SO BRING IT.

The Veterans Sportsmens Association has teamed up with Hudson Valley Honor Flight for our Annual Whiskey Bourbon & BBQ to raise money in support of their mission to "Honor American Veterans" for all of their sacrifices.
Please join us on Saturday, 20 September 2025 at American Legion 1302 in Poughkeepsie NY as we raise money for the Hudson Valley Honor Flight. Half of all proceeds will benefit Hudson Valley Honor Flight. Thank You!
Hudson Valley Honor Flight (HVHF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization which “Honors American Veterans” for all their sacrifices. We transport these heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials at no cost to them.
We are a local hub of the National Honor Flight Network (which consists of over 100 independent non-profit “hubs” across America).
