Starting a New Chapter in 2024

Starting in 2024, the Veterans Sportsmens Association will be starting a new VSA Chapter for the State of Pennsylvania in the Poconos region. Meeting locations, social events, training and shooting events will be listed on the PA Chapter link below

AMERICAN LEGION POST 851

The new Pennsylvania (VSA PA) Chapter of the VSA will begin using the American Legion Post 851 in Dingmans Ferry PA for meetings and events in 2024.

NRA TRAINING PROGRAM

Starting in January 2023

The Veterans Sportsmens Association has teamed up with firearms manufacture KAHR Arms to provide NRA Training Courses at their Tommy Gun Warehouse facility in Greeley PA starting in 2023. These NRA Basic and Instructor Level Courses will be open to the public, and will be listed on the NRA Training Website.


Special discounts will be available to Law Enforcement Personnel (Active or Retired), as well as for Active Duty, Guard and Reserve Military Members and Veterans.

Kayak Event for Pike County PA Veterans

The 2024 Veterans Kayak Event will take place on the Delaware River in the Dingmans Ferry PA launch and downstream to Eshback PA on 14 July 2024 starting at 1300 Hours.

Veterans Kayak Event on the Delaware River in Pike County Pennsylvania. Veterans and guests will put in at the Dingmans Ferry PA launch at 1300 hours and take out at the Eshback PA launch .

Our First Annual Pike County Veterans Day Dinner and Turkey Shoot. We will be providing a Free "Thanksgiving" style dinner for Pike County PA Veterans after a traditional Turkey Shoot on the range. Date and Venue Information Coming Soon!
