Our Seventh Annual Whiskey Bourbon & BBQ
Our 2026 Whiskey Bourbon & BBQ will be a Veterans Game Dinner at the Pirate Canoe Club in Poughkeepsie NY.
This years event will feature live Music, Firearms and Sportsmens gear, Machine Gun Shoot raffle tickets, cigars and select tastings from Local and Veteran Owned Distilleries.

For the 2026 Whiskey Bourbon & BBQ we are changing some things up. This year will feature a sit down Wild Game Dinner Prepared by Culinary Trained Veterans, select Cigar and Whiskey Pairings that will feature Local New York and Veteran Owned Distilleries. We will also feature local Wineries, Mead, Cideries and Breweries.
Guests will receive free Whiskey and other adult beverage tastings, live music, and enjoy a variety of local Wild Game food and beverages with a Commanding View of the Hudson River.
Live Music and authentic BBQ Food will be provided on site for this event.

A "Veterans Game Dinner" is a community event, often celebrated in the fall featuring local game based meals, camaraderie, and sometimes actual games to honor local military service members that are hosted by Veterans Sporting Organizations. These dinners provide a safe space for connection, often featuring local sponsors, raffles, and special recognition for veterans.

HUDSON VALLEY HONOR FLIGHT
Hudson Valley Honor Flight is a 501c3 nonprofit organization which “Honors American Veterans” for all their sacrifices. We transport these heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials at no cost to them. We are a local hub of the National Honor Flight Network, which consists of over 100 independent non-profit “hubs” across America.

Serenity Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being by channeling energy through gentle touch. It is based on the belief that life force energy flows through all living beings, and when this energy is low or blocked, it can lead to physical or emotional imbalances.
During a Reiki session, I use my hands hands to guide this energy, helping to clear blockages and restore balance.
Reiki is a holistic practice that complements other forms of healing and is known for its calming, non-invasive approach to improving health and harmony in the mind, body, and spirit.
HUDSON VALLEY SKI CLUB
Our name says Ski Club, but we are year-round activities and adult social club based in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York. Throughout our 85+ years, HVSC has offered ski trips to top resorts throughout the U.S., Europe and Canada, bike trips, scenic hikes, kayaking, sailing, cultural events, rafting, wine tasting parties and happy hours (which we have nicknamed “Race Training”).

AQUATIC EXPLORERS SCUBA CLUB
The Aquatic Explorers Scuba Club is dedicated to promoting and protecting the sport of scuba diving. It provides members with a network of recreational and professional divers to share experiences, learn from, and dive with.
The scuba club was first Incorporated June 21, 1957 as the Empire State Rescue Squad and began teaching Scuba in 1958. In 1960 the name was changed to the Aquatic Explorers and participated in many dive activities in the local lakes and rivers.

This event will be held from 1700 - 2100 at the Pirate Canoe Club in Poughkeepsie NY 12601.
