The Veterans Sportsmens Association has teamed up with Hudson Valley Honor Flight for our Annual Whiskey Bourbon & BBQ to raise money in support of their mission to "Honor American Veterans" for all of their sacrifices.
Please join us on Saturday, 20 September 2025 at American Legion 1302 in Poughkeepsie NY as we raise money for the Hudson Valley Honor Flight. Half of all proceeds will benefit Hudson Valley Honor Flight. Thank You!
Hudson Valley Honor Flight (HVHF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization which “Honors American Veterans” for all their sacrifices. We transport these heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials at no cost to them.
We are a local hub of the National Honor Flight Network (which consists of over 100 independent non-profit “hubs” across America).

For this years Whiskey Bourbon & BBQ we have partnered up with Hudson Valley Honor Flight. This event will feature Local New York and Veteran Owned Distilleries. We will also feature local Wineries, Mead, Cideries and Breweries.
Guests will receive free Whiskey and other adult beverage tastings, live music, and enjoy a variety of local food and beverages. Half of All funds raised will go directly to Hudson Valley Honor Flights mission for local Veterans.
Live Music and authentic BBQ Food will be provided on site for this event.

AQUATIC EXPLORERS SCUBA CLUB
The Aquatic Explorers Scuba Club is dedicated to promoting and protecting the sport of scuba diving. It provides members with a network of recreational and professional divers to share experiences, learn from, and dive with.
The scuba club was first Incorporated June 21, 1957 as the Empire State Rescue Squad and began teaching Scuba in 1958. In 1960 the name was changed to the Aquatic Explorers and participated in many dive activities in the local lakes and rivers.

Warriors & Whiskey believes everyone deserves a fun and engaging way to pursue their passion, and when that passion is whiskey, they couldn’t think of a better way than to distill the greatest whiskey enthusiasts in America into one spirited community.

Our VSA Whiskey, Bourbon and BBQ event this past year was a huge success. Significant time and effort was expended by our members to make it happen, and we want to identify and Thank everyone that was able to attend.
The VSA Board would like to start off by Thanking American Legion 1302 and our fellow American Legion 1302 members for allowing us to use our post as the venue for this event. Everything they did for us was greatly appreciated and made this event possible.
We want to Thank the distilleries that were able to attend and support us at this event, and we look forward to coming out to visit each one of your distilleries in the coming year. We also want to Thank The Sons of the American Legion 1302, whose team was just amazing and made our guests the great BBQ. Finally, we want to Thank the Brokedown and Rebuilt Band for the excellent live music.
With every successful mission or event, you need three components. A good plan, a good execution of that plan, and a good team. The Board would like to thank the committee members who attended multiple planning meetings, designed, printed, and distributed posters, and spent hours coordinating the event plans.
